When Iniquity Visits You
Opening: Exo 20:5-6, Eze 18:2-3, 20
De 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Blessings: Exaltation, Reproductive, Health, Prosperity, Victory, Head & not tail, Above & not beneath
De 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:
Curses: Humiliation, Failure to reproduce/barrenness, Sickness of every kind (especially hereditary), Poverty/lack, Defeat, Tail and not head, Beneath and not above
De 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

The Excesses of Deliverance
Opening: Luke 10:17-20
Mt 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity
Four areas where excess can take place
1. Dialoging with demons
2. The naming of demons
3. Overemphasis on demons
4. Replacing repentance with an over emphasis on counseling

Self-Pity: The Glue to Your Past
1Ki 19:9 And he came thither unto a cave, and lodged there; and, behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and he said unto him, What doest thou here, Elijah?

1. Self-pity is pride and idolatry concealed with tears
2. Self-pity hinders us from receiving from God
3. Self-pity plays the victim song and the blame game
Ac 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
